Answers to common questions, and how to reach us.

Rewind can’t see my photos

Rewind needs access to your photo library to find your moments. Open the Settings app, tap Apps, then Rewind, then Photos, and choose Full Access. With limited access, Rewind can only use the photos you’ve selected.

My film is waiting for Wi-Fi

Some of your photos and videos are stored in iCloud, and Rewind downloads the ones it picks. If you chose to wait for Wi-Fi, it carries on by itself once you’re connected. You can also choose to use cellular data instead.

I don’t like a clip in my film

Open your film, tap Edit, then tap the clip. You can swap it for another shot from that day, a different moment, or any photo or video from the year. For a video, you choose which part plays.

My Instagram or TikTok post has no music

That’s on purpose. Rewind leaves the music out when you share to Instagram or TikTok, so the song you add there won’t get muted. Add a song in Instagram or TikTok before you post.

Restoring a purchase

If you’ve bought Rewind Pro or unlocked a film and the watermark is back (for example on a new iPhone), tap Save to Photos or Share on your film to open the purchase screen, then tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

Cancelling Rewind Pro

Rewind Pro is managed by Apple. Open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Rewind Pro. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period to avoid being charged again. For refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
